ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Call Committee Installation is Sunday, April 7. Please keep our Call Committee in your prayers as they begin working on our Mission Site Profile (MSP).
- Spring is here, and the grass is growing! We could really use some volunteers to keep the grass cut and keep everything looking nice. Dave Barkdoll will have a sign-up sheet out on Sunday April 7, please take a turn if you are able.
- April 15 is the registration deadline for the Synod Assembly. We need some representatives! If you are able to go to Columbus GA from May 31- June 2, please let Pastor William know.
- Pray and Go will be heading out on Sunday, April 27 immediately following worship service. We have a large neighborhood to cover, and would love it if you could join us! Please bring some comfortable shoes, we will being praying over the homes in Clark Meadows subdivision on Brannan Road.
The Gathering will meet on Friday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Barbara Little's house. St. Luke Guys will meet Friday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m., location TBD.

Benedict the African, confessor, died 1589
Born into slavery on the island of Sicily, Benedict lived as a hermit until the pope ordered all hermits to attach themselves to a monastery, at which time Benedict joined the Franciscans. Though illiterate, he was highly respected as a confessor and later superior of his community.

Albrecht Dürer, died 1528; Matthias Grünewald, died 1529; Lucas Cranach, died 1553; artists
These great artists revealed through their work the mystery of salvation and the wonder of creation. Dürer's work reflected the apocalyptic spirit of his time. Though he remained a Roman Catholic, he was sympathetic to Martin Luther's reforming work. Grünewald's paintings are known for their dramatic forms, vivid colors, and depiction of light. Cranach's work includes many fine religious examples and several portraits of Martin Luther. Cranach was also widely known for his woodcuts.
