Communication involves two sides - the sending of a message and the receiving and understanding of it. During the season of Epiphany, we will explore how Jesus revealed his divine nature, and how those who understood reacted. Has Jesus made himself known to you? How did you react?
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Office Volunteers. We're looking for a few good people to volunteer in the church office. We need a small team to cover bulletins, check voice mails, and be sure things are running smoothly. If you are interested, please see Mary Shulak for details.
- Welcome Pastor William! Our new interim pastor, Pr. William E. Flippin, Jr.'s first Sunday is Sunday, January 7. We will be having a small reception after services that day. Please stop by and say hello!
- Install New Council Members. We will install our new Council members on Sunday, January 14. Our first Council meeting of 2024 will also be that day following service.
- Congregational Meeting Part 2. We will have the second half of our annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, January 21. We will submit annual reports and the 2024 budget for approval.
- Pray and Go. Our first Pray and Go outing of 2024 will be on Sunday, January 28 following service. If you have not gone out, please join us! We think you will be pleasantly surprised!
The Gathering will meet on Friday, January 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Barbara Little's house. St. Luke Guys will meet Friday, January 26 at 11:30 a.m. at Golden Corral on Jonesboro Road.

Holy God, creator of light and giver of goodness, your voice moves over the waters. Immerse us in your grace, and transform us by your Spirit, that we may follow after your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
