This Sunday is Back to School Sunday. Assistant to the Bishop Pr Jonathon Hemphill will be preaching, we will be offering prayers and blessings for students and school staff, and we will be blessing the school supplies gathered for Lutheran World Relief.
After worship we will celebrate with the return of our Fifth Sunday Fellowship. Bring a dish to share!
Join the ladies of St. Luke at The Gathering this Friday, 11:00 am, at the home of Barbara Little. The ladies will sort the school supplies gather from LWR, as well as have a Bible study and lunch.
The St. Luke Guys group will meet for lunch and fellowship that same day at Mellow Mushroom Pizza on Hudson Bridge at 11:30 am.
Pastor Robb will be leading a study on Tuesdays in August (beginning August 8) at 11:00 am on The Didache. The Didache is an ancient manual of the early church that predates some of the books of the New Testament. Each class will end with the Office of Sext, the noon-time prayer of the church. Come learn about the practice of our parents in the faith and see how that influences us today.
This class is in-person only. Sign up in the narthex.
Pastor Robb will be hosting brief devotions on Facebook Live next week on August 1 and 3 at 9:30 am. If you can't join the live stream, the video will be available after that time to view at your convenience.
