Romare Bearden, The Visitation, 1941
Today is the Feast of the Visitation, marking the visit of the Blessed Virgin Mary with her cousin Elizabeth. Both women were pregnant at the time. Mary was carrying Jesus. Elizabeth was carrying John the Baptist. Upon greeting Mary, Elizabeth proclaimed, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me? For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.”
We recently received news that another HVAC unit needs to be replaced. The total cost will be about $8,000.
There is not enough in the building maintenance fund at this moment to replace it. The council is asking for donations through the month of June to help offset the cost.
If you are able to help, please write a check with the "HVAC Repair" in the memo line, or use the following link to our secure online giving portal (use the blue button "A/C Repair Offering"):

If you have a question, please see Dave Barkdoll or any other member of the church council.
Pastor Robb and Ezel will be traveling to Chattanooga Friday to participate in the Southeastern Synod Assembly. Please pray for safe travels, and for all gathered in Assembly, that the Holy Spirit may guide and direct our church.
Pastor Robb will be back in time to lead worship on Sunday.
