Dear Friends,
Lent is always one of our busiest times of the year. In the midst of that season, an important but often overlooked feast day occurs: The Feast of the Annunciation.
The Feast of the Annunciation is March 25th and commemorates the events recorded in Luke 1:26-38, when the angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary with news that she had been chosen to bear the Messiah. In order to honor that sacred event, this Sunday we will unveil and dedicate a painting entitled, "The Annunciation: Sensing a Presence," by our own David Ludley. David has graciously agreed to lend the painting to the church for a few weeks to beautify the space as we reflect on the mystery of our faith.
Please make plans to join us.
Peace,
Pr Robb
