Return of The Dispatch
Weekly updates started during the COVID lockdowns. At the time, I started calling the weekly emails "Dispatches from Exile," as it was a way to keep us connected while we were apart. The name dropped after the lockdown was over, and we had just been calling these emails weekly updates, which doesn't have much of a ring to it. So, let's just drop the "Exile" part. Welcome to The Dispatch!
Thursday, February 2, at 10:00 am, we will welcome the Rev. Dr. Morgan Gordy, Assistant to the Bishop for Disaster Ministry, as she speaks to us about the efforts to provide disaster relief in our county following the tornadoes a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone who is interested in this work and how St. Luke can be involved is welcome to attend.
Interested in "Tea for Ukraine"? Please see Debbie Lundell or Barbara Little for more information.
The Church Council will gather in retreat this Saturday. Please pray for the council members as they discern the Spirit's moving in our congregation.
